Hey, I’m Hannah Ashlyn Stupar, but you can call me Hannah (or if you have an exceptional job offer). I am a graduate of the University of Greenwich in London, England where I received a First Class degree (4.0 GPA) in public relations and communications. While studying, I also completed work experience as a social media manager, content creator, and communications publicist. Currently, I am living in Baltimore, Maryland and seeking a full time position that will utilize and broaden my skills and experiences. My goals in life are (in no particular order) to: adopt as many elderly pets from a shelter as possible, write a mystery novel, curate a fine collection of memes, create, create, and create. At Brain Power Websites I am currently working as an account executive and copywriter. My day to day includes maintaining client relations through regular contact via email and phone throughout the day. I also create and edit content for several clients by taking on their tone and branding to produce grabbing and engaging content for their audiences on social media. I love my job but I feel I am at a point in my career where it’s time to branch out and face new and exciting challenges.
Communications Volunteer
Target Ovarian Cancer | Jan. 2018- Mar. 2018
At Target Ovarian Cancer I gained experience writing press releases and social media posts, contacting news desks, and working in a third sector environment. My time there was very helpful and rewarding as I gained experience using interfaces with Agility PR and was able to help share the stories of women who have been diagnosed with ovarian cancer. My time there was a three month work placement that I completed while in university.
Social Media Manager
Arapina Bakery | Jan. 2016- May 2017
At Arapina I worked in-house as a Social Media Manager/ Web Designer. I was responsible for the bakery’s Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and overall SEO and online presence. Once a week I met with the company owner and planned social media posts for the week as well as updated the profiles of the social media accounts and website. In addition to social media management, I wrote up blog posts and did some photography for the company’s website. I was also responsible for contacting local and national bloggers, magazines, and publications to pitch brand collaborations.

The Prince Regent | May 2017- Dec. 2017, Apr. 2018- Sep. 2018
At the Prince Regent I was trained as a barmaid and waitress by Mitchell’s & Butler’s Ltd. During my time there I improved my customer service skills and time management skills as I was responsible for closing and cleaning the pub to maximum standards in minimum time. I left the Prince Regent in January of 2018 to complete my work experience at Target Ovarian Cancer, then returned in April 2018. Upon my return I was promoted to shift leader which added the tasks of being a key holder, closing out the registers, and being responsible for 5-8 other employees on that shift. I left in September 2018 when my student visa ended and I moved back to the USA.
Infant Teacher
Creative Play School | Oct. 2014- Aug. 2015
At the Creative Play School I was a teacher in the infant room. While working there, I cared for eight babies ages six to twelve months. Each day I changed, fed, and kept the infants on a daily routine that balanced art, play, and nap time. At the end of each day I spoke with the infant’s parents to give them a report and the opportunity to ask about their child’s day. Because I was taking care of children everyday it was important to establish a trusting relationship with them and their parents

I am a graduate of the University of Greenwich in London, England. During my time at university I partied hard and worked harder to achieve a First Class (USA grade equivalent of 4.0 GPA) bachelor’s degree in public relations and communications. At university I served as the vice president for the Public Relations Fraternity (I don’t think they understood fraternity insinuates all boys and that ‘Public Relations Society’ would have been a better name but alas it remains a fraternity). In my free time I also took part in the student radio broadcast, Latitude Radio, as a co host two days a week.
